Poll: What language do you prefer for MS platforms?

Microsoft’s developer community has worked for many years with the .NET framework, a set of runtimes, compilers, libraries, and programming languages that lets developers build many different types of applications. From web applications built with ASP.NET and Silverlight, to Windows client applications, to Silverlight and XNA for Windows Phone, developers can code in multiple programming languages such as C# and VB.NET and use similar coding styles in many environments.

As we expand our training resources for developers who work with Microsoft technologies, we’d like to know what languages, platforms, and runtimes you most want to learn about. Join David Gassner in Dreamweaver CS5 with PHP and MySQL as he explains how to add dynamic data to a PHP-enabled web site in Dreamweaver CS5. This course shows how to plan and create a MySQL database, define a PHP-enabled site in Dreamweaver CS5, connect the site to the database, and manage and present dynamic data. Dreamweaver CS5 features are demonstrated throughout the video series, including PHP custom class introspection and site-specific code hinting.

In Flex 4 SDK and Flash Builder 4 Beta Preview, developer and Adobe Certified Instructor David Gassner describes how to get started with the Flex 4 SDK, and gives a tour of the new Flash Builder 4 (formally known as Flex Builder). David walks through Flash Builder 4′s installation and deployment options, and highlights its important features, including working with Spark text controls in the Flex 4 SDK and creating Flash components in Flash Builder 4.
