Combine photos with Auto-Align Layers

This week Bert shows how we can auto-align layers to merge content from multiple photos.

Even though Adobe Photoshop has powerful cloning and content–aware tools to help you tackle tricky compositing work, sometimes it’s just easier to plan ahead by taking an extra photo. When you snap one before and after something has changed, you can then use the Auto-Align Layers feature to perfectly line up your content. Then it’s only a few simple brush strokes on a mask away from being complete.

Watch this week’s videos to get started, and check back next week to learn how to create a realistic metallic grill in Bert’s next installment of Pixel Playground.
