lynda.com releases our 2000th course

With a variety of courses published each week at lynda.com, it’s easy to get distracted. So we’re pleased to take a moment to glance up from our busy release schedule to celebrate a significant milestone: lynda.com has just published its 2,000th course.

To put this in perspective, in April 2011 lynda.com featured 1,000 courses, which means we’ve now doubled our library in just over two years. From the initial concepts of a course, to screenwriting, to the production, camerawork, and editing of each individual video, 2,000 courses adds up to years of production time: no small feat.

Adobe senior product manager Bryan O’Neil Hughes was recently in the studio recording his new course Working with Raw-Format Photos in Lightroom and Photoshop—how to streamline your DSLR imaging workflow from his unique perspective as an Adobe insider—when we realized his release would mark 2,000. Bryan’s course is an excellent choice for photographers of all varieties, and our 2,000 courses cover a broad range of subjects, software, and skills today—so be sure to take a peek at all of our current releases as well.

We’d like to thank you, our members and viewers–you inspire us with your passion for learning, and drive us to keep producing courses. We’re already looking forward to course number 2,001, and empowering your personal and professional growth for years to come.

    CONGRATULATIONS on your 2,000 course!!

You’ve been beside me every step of my career, as I have been beside you, picking up breadcrumbs of wisdom like Gretel in the dark forest, finding my way through a marvelous land of technological wonders..

Because of your courses I keep my technical skills sharp, learn new programs and techniques, have fun and keep my job all for the price of a subscription.

How about you make yellow and black T-shirts with your logo to commemorate your 2,000th great course?

    Keep up the good work!

  2. Nice one!!!, Our company, DesignPlus just turned 4 years old and has been able to keep up to date with our annual Lynda subscription, congratulations for those 2,000 courses.

    Very awesome!

Although you don’t cover how to make RapidWeaver Themes (…yet), your courses are what turned me from unemployed to the owner/CEO of a software development company – making, you guessed it, stuff for RapidWeaver.

Keep up the awesome work… also, love the introduction of more business courses :D
