I guess that&#039;s because I&#039;m just as interested in &quot;trends&quot; as I am my own preferences; trends and consensus do mean something, after all. That is to say, there has to be a reason why most people (so far) would want to learn about Amazon. And since I happen to like it myself, I saw no reason to vote for Alibaba (which I like, too, but not as much as Amazon).
