  1. I must admit that I viewed the results prior to voting. I guess that’s because I’m just as interested in “trends” as I am my own preferences; trends and consensus do mean something, after all. That is to say, there has to be a reason why most people (so far) would want to learn about Amazon. And since I happen to like it myself, I saw no reason to vote for Alibaba (which I like, too, but not as much as Amazon).

    Whatever the case, thanks lynda.com!

I have a specialty tool for the restaurant industry that has solved problems in the restaurants that I own. I would like to sell this online. I would like to know how to get the word out and then how to collect the money and ship.

    Thanks, Bob Jensen

I really think Magento should have been on this list or even Zencart. Amazon was obviously the most popular.

  4. Tim Anderson says:

I have no idea what any of those eCommerce programs listed in the poll are. I recommend:

    1. Overview of different types of eCommerce systems, like those listed in the poll.
    2. Training on using eCommerce with WordPress.

    Thanks for reading!

  5. Jonathan says:

I would be more interested in seeing a more traditional shopping cart than one of the ecommerce service.

  6. Jeff says:

    Ubercart & Drupal integration

  7. Another vote for Tim’s idea about an overview of different eCommerce options, high-level details of how they integrate with WordPress etc
