In iPhone SDK: Developing iPad Applications, author Simon Allardice shows how to apply your existing knowledge of Xcode, Objective-C, and the iPhone SDK to create applications for the iPad. The course focuses on what’s different on the iPad, including design principles for the larger screen real estate, detecting device capabilities, and working with new Xcode project types.

Simon is also the author of iPhone SDK Essential Training.

    Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for your superb iPhone series. It really helped me wrap my head around the SDK and got me off on the right foot for my own app, which was just approved by Apple.

    Well made video! I suggest instead of emphasizing on technical differences or guidelines, I would rather go for conceptual differences and advantages from one form factor to the other. At the end, its all about standard technology according to standard procedures. Thanks!
