I want to give a lynda.com subscription to my dad but he is so — what’s the word? — tech paranoid that he has spam filters turned way up and generally doesn’t trust emails from 3rd parties, doesn’t click on links, etc. Plus his inbox is so full and disorganized that he might forget about the message. I know, he’s a lot of work… but I think the physical card would increase the odds of him actually using the subscription.
