Hello, Deke is the best! I have one very important question. What program(s) do you (lynda.com)
use to record the screen captures for Deke’s course here? I am in the business of making on-line and CD based tutorials much like those on Lynda.com, and specifically like this one by Deke.
I am developing training for internal use at my company (not for public consumption). I am currently using a product from a major company, but the results we get are no where near as good as what I see with your movie (CS4 Photoshop, and a Vista computer). I am developing on a PC (Windows XP). Please let me know. It also seems that Deke is working “real-time” and off the cuff. Since he is REALLY knowledgeable on Photoshop, it must be easy for him.

Hi Eric,
For Macintosh screen capture, we use Amborsia Software’s Snapz Pro. For Windows screen capture, we use TechSmith’s Camtasia Studio.
